Nyoro Sets the Political Stage Ablaze...

Kenyan politics took another dramatic turn after Ndindi Nyoro delivered a fiery and calculated interview on Citizen TV that has now sparked intense national debate across social media, political circles, and among ordinary wananchi.
The outspoken Kiharu MP appeared calm, composed, and deeply prepared as he tackled some of the most sensitive issues affecting the country today — from the soaring fuel prices, government borrowing, economic hardship, and the growing frustration among Kenyans.

During the interview, Nyoro accused the government of failing to fully ease the burden on citizens despite promises made during campaigns. He questioned the handling of fuel pricing and challenged the government’s economic direction, saying many Kenyans are struggling to survive under the current cost of living.

What stood out most was his confidence and directness. Unlike the usual cautious political interviews, Nyoro came out aggressive yet analytical, mixing economics with political messaging in a way that kept viewers glued to their screens.

Social media platforms immediately erupted after the interview aired. Supporters praised him as “fearless,” “bold,” and “the voice of frustrated Kenyans,” while critics accused him of distancing himself from the same administration he once defended strongly.

Political analysts now believe the interview may have been more than just a media appearance. To many observers, it looked like a carefully timed political statement ahead of the intensifying 2027 succession politics.

Nyoro also revisited the controversial government-to-government fuel import deal, questioning whether the arrangement is truly benefiting ordinary citizens. His remarks reignited debate on transparency and accountability within Kenya’s energy sector.

The interview once again reminded Kenyans why Ndindi Nyoro remains one of the most influential young politicians in the country. From his sharp economic arguments to his fearless criticism, he managed to dominate national conversation within hours.

Whether one agrees with him or not, one thing is now clear: Ndindi Nyoro is steadily positioning himself at the center of Kenya’s future political battlefield.

As the political temperatures continue rising, Kenyans will be watching closely to see whether this was just another television appearance — or the beginning of a bigger political shift.

For many viewers, the Citizen TV interview was not just politics. It was a warning shot.

The Girl Who Ran Into Fire....

Cecilia Wanjiku: The Girl Who Ran Into Fire The night of May 28 began like any other at Utumishi Girls Academy. The halls of Meline Waithera Dormitory had grown quiet as students settled into sleep after a long day of classes and laughter. Outside, the darkness wrapped itself around the school grounds, and the cool night air carried a sense of peace. Then, without warning, that peace was shattered. A faint crackling sound echoed through the dormitory. Within moments, flames burst to life, spreading rapidly through the building. Smoke poured into the corridors, thick and suffocating. Terrified screams pierced the darkness as girls woke to find fire surrounding them. Panic swept through the two-storey dormitory. Students scrambled from their beds, searching desperately for exits. Some cried for help. Others stood frozen in fear. The orange glow of the fire reflected on frightened faces as the flames climbed higher and higher. Among the chaos stood sixteen-year-old Cecilia Wan...

On Wednesday, July 30, 2025, Transparency International Kenya (T.I.-Kenya) hosted a high-level Validation Meeting at PrideInn Azure, Nairobi, to unpack one of Africa's most pressing challenges—corruption. The meeting focused on the implementation of the African Union Convention on Preventing and Combating Corruption (AUCPCC) in East Africa. The AUCPCC , adopted in 2003, is a cornerstone treaty that commits African Union member states to fight corruption through strong legislation, institutional structures, and coordinated enforcement. Its implementation is essential not only for justice but for economic growth, good governance, and sustainable development. In the context of the ...

Kenyan CSOs Mobilise to Combat Illicit Financial Flows Published: August 1, 2025 | By Evans Muguna In a country grappling with grey listing by the Financial Action Task Force (FATF), Kenya’s civil society is not taking a back seat. Today, a critical conversation unfolded at the Heron Portico Hotel in Nairobi, where Transparency International Kenya (TI-Kenya) and members of the Kenya NPO Working Group on FATF hosted a transformative strategy meeting to address Illicit Financial Flows (IFFs) and safeguard civic space. The session brought together voices from across the civil society ecosystem—advocacy groups, researchers, governance experts, and financial integrity advocates—with one shared goal: to  strengthen internal systems, stay compliant, and protect civil liberties. 🔍 Why Now? In February 2024 , Kenya was added to the FATF grey list —a global watchlist for countries deemed to have strategic deficiencies in their anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorism financing ...
